Check your cables! Probably biggest mistake made with 6 volt is if someone repalced a cable they didnt put heavy enough cables on it, 6 volt takes heavier cables then 12volt. Hook up a GOOD set of jumper cables along with your original cables from battery to starter and see if that helps if it dose it your cables!!
