My approach to this task would be to build a single slope pole building using the design encompassed in Morton buildings. These people have the engineering talent to enable them to design and offer the most building for the money and yet create a profit margin that permits them to remain in business. A person can learn a lot about how to build a building by studying their techniques. If the budget can tolerate a little more, I would consider a total metal structure as this design is able to withstand heavy snow and wind loads while having more free span useable area internally. You need to build a building larger than you think that you need. I am of the opinion that you can't get too much storage space.
