I thought the old "tricyle-types aren't safe on hills" argument got pretty well discussed here a couple a few months ago. Pretty much agreement that they aren't necessarily more unsafe. And-I don't think that had anything to do with the disappearnce of the tricycles. It's just that the WF-type became more refined to allow it to do some of theings it couldn't do before.
