Alot of the times that a doctor orders those extra and seemingly unnecessary tests just to cover his own rear from a lawsuit. My wife, legal secretary, worked in a firm years ago that would sue on behalf of somebody, because the doctor did'nt do enough. As in, this test or that test. These doctors have got to have all their ducks in a row. My wife said alot of these suits were rediculus, but the doctors had to defend themselves from this nonsense. She went to another firm, a whole different branch of law because she hated what she was a part of. Tort reform is needed, but it will never happen because all we have down there is a bunch of lawyers. They are not going to do anything, to limit their friends income. Jack
