Joe is right about the moisture coming up from the ground. I've seen too many nice old collectible cars rot up from the bottom from sitting outside. The grass grows up all around them which keeps the air from circulating underneath, the moisture from the ground condenses on the bottom and in a couple of years the floors go right out of them. A way to beat that problem, is to lay down enuf black polyethylene to cover the ground a couple of feet past the perimeter of the vehicle (machine) and secure it with stones or old planks. The moisture can't get up from the ground and the air can circulate under the vehicle (machine).
