Put deisel shut off lever all the way forward, have throttle at idle, pull choke out and push the starter. When tractor starts adjust the choke to keep running until warm, when warmed up put left hand on deisel shut-off and right on throttle, pull back on deisel shut off lever and pull throttle wide open until deisel takes over then idle down wait for engine to run smooth then operate tractor.
