This past week had to be the best haying I've ever done - perfect weather, great dry down, decent bale weights, no breakdowns (even my 706 behaved herself for once) and we didn't have to kill ourselves to get done. I suppose we get a good run once in a while just to remind us its still possible.
Too bad I have two fields about run-out, sure would like to come up with an over-seeding solution otherwise next year they go to beans. Thought about clover but that scares off my horse hay buyers. Can be alflafa be overseeded with timothy? Any other options?
