If the so called rich got there by not being dumb. They are willing to foot the bill to a certain extent but not entirely. The ones that can will pass the expense on in the form of higher prices. Others will move their business overseas where the taxes are less which will result in fewer jobs. If all of this happens we will see a slow or negative economy for many years.
