I wonder why you would even want straight 140W. The 90/140 gives you the best of both worlds; acts like 90 when cold and 140 when hot. I don't think 90/140 was available yet back in the 50s when most tractor manfacturers called for either 80, 140, or 240 weights, depending on the application.
