We need to know how the knot looks is it tied on one side or the other is it broken string or another thing. If you look in your manual it will show the different problems and the fix. Now my NH 268 is giving me a problem it will tie perfect on one side but on the other it will not cut the swine off of the bill hook every so often. Driving me crazy. Broke the feed pickup belt the other day I think it was the original belt from the looks. I should get the new one today, well its to hot to bale anyway supposed to cool off over the weekend. Make sure that your knife is sharp and the bill hook tension is enough to hold the twine when its cut off. Unlike some balers the hook hold it till its cut off. On my IH 46 the loop slips off the bill hook as the knot is tied, Walt PS do like those big tight bales the NH makes though.
