Is that the second cutting from the field that had all the hail damage? That's pretty neat how you can cut it, and then leave it to dry until it's time to rake without touching it again. Here in central Missouri, we darn near wear our alfalfa out moving it around to get it to dry. It takes a hot, dry, summer drought in order for us to be able to do that. What kind of alfalfa yields could you get there if you had irrigation?
