If you don't want to do it the RIGHT way and tear it all the way down, first try this.
Get a can of Berryman's spray carb cleaner (or other good stuff that causes cancer in Cali) with one of the thin "spaghetti" spray tubes. Remove the idle and load needles and insert the tip of the spray tub WAY down into each hole and give 'er a few blasts, then repeat a couple of times. This MAY just blow enough crud out of the way so the old girl will run better for a while!
