They only built 898 of them (maybe 899) while they were getting the bugs out of the 674. That 239 diesel was too much for the 674 gears so they used the 656 rear end and the 239 engine. Serial nos in 1972: 2501-3211. In 1973 they built serial nos 3212 thru 3398 -possibly 3399. My 664 is serial # 3398 and I think it is the last one built. When I got it back 15 or 17 years ago, I researched and found it to be the last one or the next to last one. Now I forget-I'm older than dirt.
