Wifes Father came to America in 1914 from north Italy ,almost in Germany . She went to Italy with her folks when she was 12. Not a good trip, her mother was the only one to speak English to her. her cousins and uncles and aunts tried to converse with her but that usually ended up a failure. She spent 2 weeks in this small mountainside town living as her relatives did and never got out in the country to see any thing so it was not a very memorable trip.I think Italy would be a nice destination were it not for the tourists.LOL
