I have to say thats a real dumb statement when you consider nobody would have the life they have in this country or even anywhere in the world without unions.I dont understand the venomous anti union mentality?Unions is what made this country good. They fought for 40 hour week, time and a half overtime, paid holidays and medical insurance.Tell me you want to work 90 hours a week for 3 dollars an hour with no medical and no time and a half overtime,no paid vacation. There is not even an argument about it-unions made this country.Detroit is another thing.
I dont know what happens to fix all this, but I know that trying to make this country China is not going to work.It might happen, but none of us will stand for it and probably get shot.
I dont care what you think about things, its never right to work for wages that wont pay the bills. It doesnt work.Next is crime, next is chaos. Then starvation and third world type of abuse, eating dirt and stuff like that. You could be right, but are you ready for the slave life if you are?Doubt it.What would stop you from having to suffer yourself? If the Company doesnt make lots of profit off of your work you go bye bye.Now what do you think bye bye is?Shot out back like in China? Now if you think that you are prepared to go along with all that, you need to seriously look at how stupid that is.You dont even know,or cant even imagine, just what you are talking about happening. You better hope it doesnt happen and quit bad mouthing unions.Yeah, yeah, yeah they messed up.But they need fixed or you are in China.Get with it,fix it,or there is no country any more.Nobody wants to live in Wal Mart Bizzaro world you think is the way things should be,its He11.Detroit is corrupt, and the unions were corrupt there, and in all big cities, because a bunch of people infiltrated the union and screwed it up so it would fall.It just needs to be fixed not thrown away.Detroit however is already gone Im afraid. Its problem is obvious to me,but Im not going to type it.Our whole way of life is suffering because of people that abused things on both sides, and some communist minded northern city jerks that were corrupt.Yeah some of what you say is true, but the problem is with being so extreme. If you have a company you can pay fair pay or go broke.Thats mostly happened already.GM even 10 years ago made Billions of profit.GM just wanted to get rid of the union because the pension was there and they stole it.Now they are going to gut the company. If you make a living gutting companies you get a lot of money and do and say whatever you need to to get those billions in pension funds moved to a bank in Switzerland.Wal Mart is just a model for these crooks running things to get more profit. If nobody will work for slave wages, and if government would slap huge tarrifs on imported goods, like they have before,GM would be profitable now,and manufacturing in America, paying good wages. The worst thing is to think things cant be better.People loose hope and crime gets a lot worse.Wal mart is wrong, always was.

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
