I dont kill them unless they try and bite me. I let them alone and they do the same for me. Only snake I mess with if I see it on the road is a bull snake. I catch it and take it to one of my hay fields. They sure do eat alot of gophers.It seems people are scared of snakes for some reason.Dont bother them and they usually wont bother you.Or kill the rattlers but dont kill the good snakes. Bullsnakes can be mistaken for a rattler.
