Are you asking about the fob that goes on your key ring or the touchpad that you push a combination to enter? On the fobs, you gather all the fobs that you are going to have for the truck and have them inside the vehicle with you. Put the key into the switch and turn completely on and completely off (i believe) 7 times. At that time your doors will lock and unlock signaling that you have done the key thing right. Take each fob and push the lock button and then unlock button. Your vehicle is then programmed to accept the signal from those fobs. Sounds whacky, but that is what the owner's manual says to do.
