Walmart did not offer medical insurance to it's part time employees and then was bragging about having a 80-90% employee coverage rate by not counting the part time employees. I think all their employees have coverage option now, but what I've read is because of how high the premium and co-payments are plus what little it covers you might as well pay out of your pocket. Some of you say that WM should be a stepping stone to better opportunities. This may be true but in the real world there is a part of the population that will work at these jobs their whole life and to not be offer a living wage or decent medical is criminal. There people with limited medical are the ones making your Happy Meals. Somebody was saying how much you earn is between you and your boss. If you have some unique specialty or work in some depress area you might negotiate on pay, but otherwise you're living in a dream world were you can be replaced in a heart beat and in actuality are negotiating off the backs of years of Unions fighting for your rights.
