As I recall, there was slightly more than 50% women then. My unscientific opinion is that there is a slightly higher percentage of women now.

I had a 1965 Dodge Coronet, small v8. It got about 18 miles per gallon. The 1955 Buick Special I had, which weighed 2 tons, got about 17mpg. Smaller cars were availiable which got 20mpg and better.

I was in the military before and during the Vietnam War, but did not have to go there. My opinion then and now is that President Johnson mismanaged the war and that the war was not prosecuted with sufficient vigor and effectiveness.
