This is really an example of "corporatism"....major corporations are being invited to the White House. They are being threatened in a variety of ways and then suddenly they cut a deal and are in favor of legislation that would appear to not be in their best interest. GE did the same thing as they have become a supporter of cap and tax in exchange for being at the front of the line for green $$$$. Hospitals have done the same thing this week in endorsing government health care and agreeing to $155 billion in payment reductions from the government. How can you agree to reduction of $155 billion in payments and still provide quantity and quality of care we have enjoyed......while adding 47 million new customers ?????
