Some had a tee by the filter to connect a hose from a 20 lb tank to get you back to the fill tank. If not you can do that adding a tee in your line putting a flare cap over it when not needed. We use to have a tank on a trailer to drag out to the fields too but later on they told us it was illegal for us to drag it on the highway so we had to get them to fill it with truck also on farm or field site or fill it from our larger tank and stay off highways with it.
