you are wrong on that!your locale fire dept has control of the fire the DNR only assist with man power and heavy eq. but the locale fire chief is still in charge unless HE turns control over to then witch he should not do. we work with them all the time and they like to take control but by law your local FD is in charge. same goes for fires on any road or state highway fire dept has control of incident NOT the cops but after fire is out then command is turned over to the cops.this one gets real heated at times when we shut down US 10 for fires or accidents but our safety comes first
