I was happy as a lark doin some bushhogging on a small plot of blueberryfield here in down east maine. The day before,my 25 h.p. diesel compact 4wd satoh bull would not start. I suspected the safety starter switch under the clutch pedal-found with a test light that that was the problem. Parts for this machine are wicked.. 80.00 FOR THE PART-so I bought a 5 dollar button put it on-worked great... Comming back from hogging-the tractor shut down completely/felt like I hit a tree/or like the engine blew.Found that my switch had broken.I JUMPED THE SOLENOID WITH SCREWDRIVER-tried driving across the busy road in front of our house...BAM!!! Right in the middle of the road same thing/like I hit a tree everything shut down engine elctric ect...Got it home after jumping it again checked with a test light to see if glowpugs were comming on and they only do when they are suppose to/so no short there---IT SEEMS FINE BUT AND WILL RUN BY JUMPING IT AND EVEN GO IN AND OUT OF GEAR BUT i THINK IT IS GOING TO DO THE SAME THING IF i ATTEMPT TO DRIVE IT FOR A FEW YARDS OR SO--ANY ANSWERS OUT THERE AT ALL PLEASE????
