Might want to look for an old forklift boom, convert it to attach to the 3pt and mount the spear on it. You still will need a fairly heavy tractor to do this to support the boom plus a 800-1000+ lb bale. Other option is a loader on the tractor. I'm afraid the laws of physics will come into play if you try to extend a bale spear out far enough to the rear to gain enough height to load a trailer.
