Charles, I have my fan out of the tractor. It started squalling the other night. I didn't even know that the fan needed to be lubricated until I read the description in the parts breakdown in an old I&T manual. How much lubricant and what type does it take? I found a bearing in Colorado at a JD dealer, and I don't want to go through this again. Bt the looks of the bearing, it had been going out for quite some time. Do you think that this could make the engine run warmer than usual? Since the fan had been turning, It didn't occur that this could be causing trouble. Thanks, Steve
