check out my "How many tractors do you have?" We have some similar stuff. I love my m38a1 which was basket of bolts when I bought it 30 years ago. Right now I'm finishing puting together the 41 jd h which has spark but wont hit a lick yet. I did notice a crack in the carburator casing where fuel is leaking. Luckily I bought a casing on ebay sometime ago for next to nothing for such a time as this. I changed the tractor from hand start to electric by shopping on ebay while I fixed it over the last 3 years.
