As if you didn"t already have enough confusion, a 94 Clevite catalog lists the following: T6: (early and late) C248 engine T6: C264 T6: C281 T6: C263 T6; (61 series) C248 T6 (62 series) C282 I assume these were engine options Same catalog has one listing for "H": C152...and three for "M": "M": Early and late, both C248 "M": C264 (Could be option or upgrade?). For serial # location, try "passenger side of block, at front, up at top edge of block, stamped engine and serial #". That"s apparently for a truck engine, but my note says supposed to fit most IH engines, at least the inline"s. Good luck.
