I was raised to be courteous to everyone I met. Even if I didn't really like them. I don't mind being bothered by waiters/waitresses.
However, two weeks ago I took my daughter out to eat. It had been planned in advance, so I had to go, but I had a terrible headache that day. All I really wanted to was be left alone.
