: I am looking at a Massey Ferguson 135 with a front end loader on it. The price is $5800. Is this reasonable? It appears to be mechanically sound, sheet metal just ok. It has turf tires and doesn't seem to have much ground clearance on the rear end. Does anybody have experience here?

Well, you used a key word, "experience", now if you asked for "opinion" , I would say based on the prices around these parts (Ga.), the 135 Massey is well thought of, when I was looking, a well worn one (they all looked wore out to me) was about 3500. These were apparently very good tractors, I bought a 240 Massey with low hours for just a little more. Most tractors I've seen with with turf tires were used for golf courses or general ground maintenance, they could have a lot of hours, but not to stressful. Thats what I would have said if you had asked for a opinion, but I guess I shouldn't comment. BH
