Assuming all of your safety switches are not tripped, the problem lies in the starter solenoid. There are four connections to it. It looks like only two of yours are hooked up.
1. There should be a large gauge wire from the battery to the solenoid. Check.
2. There should be a large gauge wire from the solenoid to the starter. Check.
3. There should be a small gauge wire from the ignition to the solenoid. Unhooked.
4. The metal base of the solenoid needs to be grounded to the frame or battery.
