That should be a two part valve stem. One part is permanent to the tube and the other is a screw in shrader valve holder. If it is two part, just replace the screw in part, a couple of bucks. Either way, rears hold only 12-15lbs of air pressure and the valve stem cap (steel with washer inside) is the primary air seal. So, I dont know how you'll get some air into that tire unless you're really quick. It's called a valve stem core housing and there is a new and old style.
