PLEASE HELP! The main shaft on my NH 1465 haybine twisted the shaft behind the bolt/gear that runs the reel. It looks like the shaft may have been holding on for dear life from the previous owner, but it gave away today just when I needed it the most! I have the wobble box out but can"t quite figure out how to get the main shaft out of the gearbox. I have both end plates off. Do I need to dissasemble the wobble drive inside? Can anyone tell me the things I need to know so I don"t end up maybe taking apart something I shouldn"t have to. Any tricks to it or can the shaft be driven out from the front? I can"t tell for sure. The New Holland dealer is closed today so I could not get an answer and have much hay to cut in the next few days. Is the shaft available? Or do they only want to sell you a rebuild? ANY HELP would be appreciated to save some time. Anyone know of a ballpark price for the shaft? Thanks Leon in Mn.
