I dont know how the oliver is set up,but what is happening is the fuel is draining back into the tank and being replaced by air.i dont think the air is coming from the pump.if it is a roosamaster pump you can get a check valve that goes in the return line.oliver might have installed a check valve somewhere in the system,which may be faulty
