Probably too late for you to learn a new trick, but for the younger folk on here we should teach them how to hold a nail correctly so that they don't get smashed fingers.
Instead of holding the nail between your thumb in index finger hold the nail between your index finger and middle finger with the head of the nail on the palm side of your hand instead of the back.
If you hit your fingers on the palm side it doesn't hurt but if you hit them on the back side it does.
Yep, just learn to drive a nail so there is no swearing. Never knew a reason to take the Lord's name in vain for our mistake anyway.
