No one has cut for nearly three weeks in Western Mass due to the rain. The few guys who cut everything they could before this spell of rain at the only ones in good shape. Strictly grass hay is so tall in most fields that the rain is beating it down. It"s going to be a mess to cut. Supposed to have hot and humid all weekend so I bet every haybine in the area will be doing over time today and tomorrow, granted the fields are dry enough to get in them!
