I took this picture when I was plowing under a hay feild on 6/12. Now it's almost knee high and things are looking very nice. Planted more corn on 6/13 and it's about 6" tall already.
We cut 1st crop on 6/3-6/4 and got ahead of the weather and most of the other farmers in the area. Planning to cut 2nd crop next week to bale on Thursday/Friday. Dad said some of the hay is almost knee high already so 2nd crop should pile up pretty nice. Oats headed out in the last week, so in probably about another month I'll be swathing that to be combined.
