Sorry , but the next new truck will be a Tacoma...I've had Fords , Dodges, and Chevys..And I gotta say they have all gone downhill in the last 15 or 20 years...My '05 Silverado [with 36,000 miles]has been the worst of all.. Literally fell apart just after warranty time ran out.. Some fixes have been done up to 3 times now..I can remember my dad's old Chevy's..They took a beating and kept running with minimal repairs..I just bought a military Chevy [1986]with no miles on it..I hope to keep it for several years as a main ride , then will add a utility body to it for a service truck..But no more new American trucks for me.. So Sorry , but if we learn to build them to outlast the warranty by at least a year , I might reconsider....
