Ford or Massey Ferguson

I have a small farm and am looking for a better tractor. I will use the tractor for mowing, fencing and I want a front end loader on it. I have seen several older Fords, 2000 and 3000 series, but for only a little more money, I can purchase a MF 231 or 231S. Give me your opinions on which is the best way, the 30+ year old Fords or the much newer Massey's?
