I hope its not the case with yours, but a buddy of mine out the road had to keep at least his dash and maybe the whole cab because the differences between the gasser and diesel, because of big time differences in the firewall and dash structure. His was later ('93 or '94 I think), so he replaced doors, fenders, bed and hood, and made repairs to the cab.
Like I say, it'll be a lot easier to do if you don't have that problem, and I hope you don't, but it might be advisable to scope that out now, too. If nopbody here knows for sure, you might find some help over at turbodieselregister.com.
