looking for an 8N mechanic

I've got a great tractor, but it's been smoking oil from the dipstick area and it needs some expert help ...but finding that person here in the Boston area is tough. The local "shop" is suggesting some very steep prices to repair it.....anyone know of someone in this area as an alternative ?
