If it tries on only one cylinder, it probably has stuck third valves or regular valves. With it on the diesel setting, pull the spark plugs and see if you can crank it over. If so, and it cranks through all but one cylinder, I would pull the valve cover to look at all the valves and rockers, pushrods, and starting valves. Getting them unstuck can involve penetrating juice, and tapping with a plastic faced hammer on the keeper (after taking the rocker system off) good luck. JimN
