Here is a pic of my 2n axle housing. Remember what I said in my previous post about the build date? As you can see mine was built 2-19-47, or atleast that is when the castings were made. So, with that said, if yours were a "war time" model, your casting date should fall some where between 1-1-43 and 1-1-46. That would get you real close to figureing you have a war model. I wouldn't bank on the engine serial number because they were changed out so easily..... Unless you know for a fact that it is all original.
