NAA engine

I bought an NAA at an auction. Looked and sounded OK. Got it home and it broke a valve.
Took a piston with it and cracked the head.

I'm finding out that the parts houses are darned proud of their heads ($300 - $600).

What rebuilt engine could I get that would be reasonably priced that would fit in the NAA?
