Thanks for the comments, guys. I spend a lot of time on the road and don't have opportunity to check this frequently. Karl, I appreciate the tip that the old manuals have lots more info on the knotter. Warren, I'll take you up on the offer to copy a few pages on knotter adjustment - I need to figure out which ones I need. Fudd, your baler is definitely vintage! A dictionary definition of the word is "of recognized quality and endurance". Any baler that has worked continuosly for 47 years must fit that definition.
