We"ve got the usual Gray and big red Fox squirrels here, but the small red squirrels, often called "pine Squirrels" are the real pesky tree rats. They chewed the wiring on my Chev 1500 pickup. Wife said it was my fault for throwing out a few peanuts each day. I solved the problem with 22 CB rounds, which don"t make much sound. Our Dog, a Wrinkley Shar-Pei, catches Gray Squirrels, Rabbits Wood Chucks, bit the little red Squirrels are too fast.
