We used to mow with a #5 deere on a '35 JD A, then take the mower off and rake with the A. When dad bought the new 630 the A was put in the stable and we were on top of the world. The baler was a Deere 14T pulled by a 60. Then we graduated to a 24T and 730 gas. At the end of the small square baling days we were really uptown with a 336 baler behind a brand new 4030. The bales were all handled by hand. The guy unloading the rack was in his upper 70's and could work all day but he had his one speed. No faster and no slower, but steady as a rock. He pretty much dictated how fast we baled, usually in the area of 1000 bales in an afternoon. Jim
