Going by your earlier description, that it is a 1997 GMC, you just need to flush your coolant, and install new. That uses the orange, 150,000 mile antifreeze, and that is what it looks like when it has lost its usefullness. Both daughters cars needed that, and that is what it was, flush and it stayed clean.
