Thats about the worst case of condensoritis I've ever heard tell of lol. I agree with the other gents, you must be applying 12 volts to a 6 volt coil WITH NO EXTERNAL SERIES BALLAST RESISTOR or resistive wire link etc. That causes too much current through the coil AND THE POINTS overheating the coil,,,,,,,,,prematurely burning the points,,,,,,,,and perhaps shortening condensor life. Id EITHER get a full true 12 volt coil or else get an external series voltage dropping (12 to 6) ballast resistor and add it after the ignition switch but before and ahead of the coil.
