Think I'll keep her

During spring plowing this year, my old Farmall 300 began to show her age. After one particullary frustating day I set up demos for a New Holland 3010, a Kabota M4700 & a Massey 245. I told the salemen to fill the tires with water and how I would test the tractor. Each time one arrived, I latched it to an old eight disc John Deere one-way. Each time it pulled the guts out of that plow right up to the turn.
But...when I stomped on that left turning brake the right spun and I sat motionless everytime. Now my 38 hp Farmall ain't pretty, needs work & won't pull that plow any faster than 2d gear, but she'll make turn without stopping. They just don't make new 40 -50 hp tractors for pulling plows. Think I'll keep old grandma.
