id stay away from case i have one dc and three jd's i can rebuild all three jd's for the price of that one case not to mention parts are hard to find for a case in the aftermarket this is just my experience though best bet is to look at what dealers are in your area easier to get parts from the dealer in most instances any old tractor is a good time
